On 27th November 2013 Niantic made a major change to the protocol used by the intel map to display portals. Before this
date, the full data for every portal on the map was sent to the browser, so IITC could take advantage of it and provide
various features - resonator search, mitigation highlighters, portal age lists, many highlighters, etc.
